The Programme provides for wherever possible, 15% of the targets and outlays under various schemes should be earmarked for Minorities. The Department of Minority Affairs, Rajasthan being nodal department , monitors and reviews 24 schemes and programmes implemented by various departments of the state government.
Different departments have been working effectively for the socio-economic and educational empowerment of especially the poor and backward sections of the minorities and also the infrastructural development  mainly in the backward areas of the state.
